This is comically evil, even for the buffoons in DC.
Remember after the Mar-A-Lago raid when the DOJ and FBI posted these damning photos of documents found in Trump's possession that were "clearly marked" as "ToP SeCrEt"?
Well, about that ... Julie Kelly at Real Clear Investigations found something interesting:

The FBI raided Mar-A-Lago, made a big show of it, and then brought along cover pages of their own to slap on top of the docs they found, creating the appearance of Trump ignoring obvious labels about "TOP SECRET" documents.
Trump NEVER saw the cover pages. The FBI placed them there for photos.
In the case, they'll admit that these were photo props, but they didn't bother telling the media about it.
Here's what the mainstream press said about this totally-not-a-hoax.

In a court filing Wednesday evening, attorneys for Trump criticized the photo and its inclusion in the brief the government filed opposing Trump's request for a special master to review the retrieved documents.
'The Government's Response gratuitously included a photograph of allegedly classified materials, pulled from a container and spread across the floor for dramatic effect,' the filing said ...
Guess what! That's correct!
ABC, however, goes on to pay special attention to these cover pages we now know were not originally attached to the documents:

The photo shows numerous documents on the floor of Trump's personal office, including colored-coded cover sheets baring classification markings in big, bold lettering.
'An examination of these cover sheets alone tells you a lot,' Douglas London, a 34-year CIA veteran, told ABC News regarding the DOJ photo. 'As the most important intelligence customer, it should be no surprise that the president receives the most sensitive information -- and that's reflected in these documents.'
I'm glad they asked the expert who couldn't even tell that these cover pages were planted by the FBI...
The markings on the cover sheets include 'TOP SECRET/SCI,' which refers to Sensitive Compartmented Information classified as national intelligence 'concerning or derived from intelligence sources,' according to a separate document from the Director of National Intelligence reviewed by ABC News. This material may come from allies or informants, or from spying or eavesdropping.
Again, the cover pages were added post-hoc by the FBI! It's fake news!
The FBI and DOJ never bothered correcting ABC, CNN, Business Insider, USA Today, or any other outlets who reported the cover pages AS IF THEY WERE THE STORY!
Business Insider has probably my favorite headline of the bunch:

A photo shared by the Department of Justice gave a glimpse into the materials the FBI seized during a raid on former President Donald Trump's Florida club and residence on August 8 — including documents clearly labeled "top secret" with color-coded cover sheets.
Yeah, they're hard to miss because THEY WERE PRINTED OUT BY THE FBI TO PLACE ON TOP OF WHATEVER DOCUMENTS THEY FOUND FOR A PHOTO OP!
I expect to see these mainstream outlets retract all these stories based on lies any day now, right?
Anyways, I'm glad we can totally trust the FBI, the government, and our betters in the mainstream media.
