RIP Louise Fletcher: Watch her magnificent Oscar speech in which she thanked her deaf parents for her success

Louise Fletcher, the legendary actress who immortalized herself as Nurse Ratched in 1975's "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," died on Friday at 88.

She has a fine and extensive catalogue to celebrate, but perhaps her most moving public performance was the speech she gave after winning the Oscar for playing Ratched, in which she signed a thank-you to her deaf parents:

A class act, through-and-through. Rest in peace, nurse.
