On Friday, the "Christian" Wheaton College gave a nice, non-partisan nod to an alumnus who just got confirmed by the US Senate to manage the federal budget.
Hours later, they deleted this simple post.
To make matters worse, the college then posted a lengthy apology to the woke cancel mob:
Wheaton College's focus is on Christ and His Kingdom.

Christian institutions don't think twice about congratulating alumni who are serving in Democrat administrations.
Can you imagine Wheaton rescinding its post if this had been an appointment by Biden?
Praying for our leaders is good, actually. Supporting your alumni for their achievements in business, ministry, or public service is good, actually.
Even the pagans know that!
Why would the majority of the nation that voted for Trump - particularly the overwhelming majority of Christians - send their kids to a school that hates them so much that it will disgrace and disown them in public??
Back to their assertion that they are serving Christ:
Yikes, Wheaton! Y'all are like the church in Laodicea that Jesus condemned.
I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of my mouth.
Cold water and hot water both have benefit. But lukewarm, wishy-washy people are just floating in the middle, totally useless.
If you think anyone associated with Trump is bad and want to plant your flag there, at least you'd have a spine. But to backtrack on your words and then publicly throw a former student under the bus?
And then to assert that you have transcended politics while hosting rabid leftists on campus??
Bruh, Satan couldn't have done it better.
Let's look at what dastardly thing Vought did as his first act overseeing the Office of Management and Budget.
Did he use the DNA of aborted babies for scientific research, like the "Christian" NIH Director Francis Collins, who was paraded around like a saint by church leaders during the pandemic?
Oh, he rooted out hundreds of millions in wasteful spending so that the government would be more accountable with the money it collects from its citizens, ensuring that corruption and vice are eliminated.
How in the world could Wheaton ever mildly support such a thing?
They're so much more spiritual than you and me!
They have no time for things like making government reflect Christ - they're building the Kingdom, don't ya know!
With Christian colleges like this, who needs secular ones??
