The newly elected mayor of NYC, Eric Adams, is continuing the Covid insanity in New York City. According to his decision, city workers are required to be vaccinated by Friday or lose their jobs.
Well, it looks like New Yorkers may finally be going full New York and telling him to go pound sand.
Watch as these municipal workers stand alongside their unjabbed brethren in protest of the mayor's decree.
These people being interviewed seem like the stereotypical, tough New Yorker that you know from the movies. They are not interested in the lawlessness coming down from above.
The first dude, John Mooney, seems like my kind of guy.
I'm fully-vaccinated. I'm boosted. I even had cancer three years ago. Chemotherapy, surgery, everything. I'm fully-vaccinated, but I don't wanna be segregated from the unvaccinated. Their should be no mandates. Workers should not be fired. Union members have to stick together. Unity, not separation.
That's why I came here today with my vaccination card. I held it up and I ripped it up.

He's standing up for the rights of others. This mandate doesn't affect anyone with the vax card, but they will stand together and rip it up for their fellow New Yorkers.
The reason why we're out here today is because there are 25 firefighters that are set to be fired on Friday. Tha mayor came down with his mandate and said 'if you don't comply, you're fired'.
Essential workers are essential for a reason. They protect the citizens of New York City, because they signed up to be of service. If you're fired for standing up for something you believe in it's wrong. It's unamerican.
We're not asking for much, we're aksing for negotiation. We're asking for the freedom to choose.
There are hundreds of individuals in New York City that are taking the testing option right now. It's been safe, it's been effective, and we're asking for fair treatment. No one should be losing their job over this.
