Kamala Harris invoked Ronald Reagan by saying the government is here to help. The internet had some thoughts.

With a border crisis looming, some states still crumbling under lockdown, and a nation divided on practically every issue under the sun, Kamala Harris thought she'd visit the sunny state of Florida on Monday to offer her "help."

The VP's declaration that the government was there to help brought up several questions.

First, why come to Florida? The state has the lowest unemployment and a high quality of life because it didn't shut down the economy to experiment with c̶ ̶o̶ ̶m̶ ̶m̶ ̶u̶ ̶n̶ ̶i̶ ̶s̶ ̶m̶ sCieNcE. If there's one state that doesn't need federal intervention right now, it's Florida.

Second, what exactly was Kamala going to do? Wave her hand across the land to magically disappear those icky conservatives? Make angry eyes at Gov. Ron DeSantis while he continues to uphold the Constitution?

Finally, anyone who has ever listened to President Ronald Reagan about government "help" had a chill go up their spine:

Fortunately for us, Kamala boarded her b̶ ̶r̶ ̶o̶ ̶o̶ ̶m̶ ̶ jet and headed back to D.C. with her cackles echoing across the skies:
