The KHL is the premier hockey league in Russia -- one of the top leagues in the world. So when they brought an attack dog out to drop the puck it was only right that the captains kept their "good hands" at a distance.
Apparently, not enough of a distance though.
The dog bit a member of the home team!!!

However, it did work out in the long run. Andrei Stas (the man who got bit) and the Dinamo Minsk won the game 5-2.
