Apart from being the greatest justice and brilliant legal mind currently on the United States Supreme Court, Clarence Thomas may also be the most entertaining and savage man in Washington.

At an event in Dallas on Friday broadcast on CSPAN, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas delivered an absolute kill shot to the media which has been so unfairly critical of him for 3 decades now:

One of the things I say in response to the media is when they talk about - especially early on - about the way I did my job, I said, "I will absolutely leave the court when I do my job as poorly as you do yours." And that was meant as a compliment really.

This man is truly the greatest of all time. 🐐

Then the room just erupts in laughter, and Thomas himself erupts into a booming laugh.

He knows it, they know it, we know it. The media has always been AWFUL at their job.

Some might even say they're the enemy of the people.

Not me, necessarily, but some people.

Then Thomas caps it off with a quip at the end, which just kills the entire room.

It really is good to be me.
