A federal judge had previously ordered Trump to reinstate 16,000 federal workers at six agencies after the workers had been fired in February.
The judge had ordered the stay in firing based on the complaints of a handful of fellow activist NGOs who were presumably upset that their money-laundering scheme had been destroyed. This ruling does not shut the door entirely for these federal workers to get a legal win against Trump, but it does make it a lot harder.
Now that Trump has the green light, may I remind him that there is a ton of waste that can still be cut in the federal government.
