Secret Service director says agents weren't posted on top of shooter's building because of "safety" concerns about the "sloped roof" 🤡

Secret Service head Kimberly Cheatle has finally spilled the beans on why her agency failed to prevent an assassination attempt on Donald Trump and spoiler alert: it's even worse than you imagine.

Why was a perfect vantage point overlooking Trump's rally left open for the would-be assassin? The Secret Service decided that stationing an agent on that roof was too risky ... because it's sloped.

Yes, a sloped roof.

Despite this dangerous slope, the shooter had no problem climbing onto the roof and opening fire on Trump and others at the rally.

What makes this worse is that local police snipers were inside the building when this all went down …

Cheatle, who's facing calls to resign (duh), gave a mind-boggling explanation, telling ABC News:

That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point. And so, you know, there's a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn't want to put somebody up on a sloped roof.

Safety factor … for whom? Certainly not Trump.

She admitted they knew about the security vulnerabilities of the building but still decided against placing personnel on the roof because, you know, slopes are dangerous.

Despite taking responsibility and saying, "The buck stops with me," Cheatle refuses to step down. "It was unacceptable. And it's something that shouldn't happen again," she said.

No bleep, Sherlock.

Don't bother checking out that grassy knoll! You wouldn't want your allergies to act up!
