Maybe electing a recent stroke victim who has severe cognitive complications to the US Senate wasn't such a good idea:
Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) was hospitalized Wednesday night after he felt lightheaded during a Senate Democratic retreat, his office said.
Fetterman, who had a stroke during his Senate campaign last year, was admitted to the George Washington Hospital Wednesday night, and did "not show evidence of a new stroke," according to his office. The statement added that he would be kept overnight for observation and to run more tests.
Here's the actual statement that The Hill made sound more concrete than it is:
Do you think this man can make it through years in the Senate?
Let's not forget that Fetterman's wife, and many on the Left, wanted to axe a reporter for being concerned about Fetterman's health, including his use of computer prompts to answer her questions through an entire interview.
One month into his term and already hospitalized… all the while being unable to string together a full sentence.
