"Smoked sweats": Arby's is apparently really selling sweatsuits that reek of wood smoke
· Oct 12, 2021 · NottheBee.com

Is this real? Is this a real, actual product really being sold to real people?

Apparently it is—at least, the whole thing was announced a while ago and there's been no big "gotcha" reveal. From Arby's website:

When you're sitting in a smokehouse, smoking the meat for Arby's Real Country Style Rib Sandwich for hours and hours over real hickory wood, your brain starts to wander. You begin to wonder what a pair of premium sweats might smell like if they, too, were smoked over hickory wood for hours. Well, Arby's found out.

Arby's Smoked Sweats are smoked in small batches in a Texas smokehouse and available in limited quantities. We recommend buying vs. waiting.

Promo Marketing seems to think it's real, claiming that the sweats were "smoked by real barbecue pit masters at Sadler's Smokehouse in Texas, where they are vacuum sealed on-site." The suits instantly sold out.

People: There's a really easy way to get your hands on some smoked sweats: Just wear some sweats and stand near a campfire.

That's it. That's all you gotta do. You don't gotta give a bunch of money to Arby's for that.
