If you have Snapchat on your phone, you may have seen in recent days that they launched a new Artificial Intelligence feature, a chatbot, designed to get you to interact with the AI and ask questions.
If you're like me, you saw it and thought, "I don't want this thing to have even more information and mine more data from me."
But others decided to dive into the world of Snapchat AI and find out its thoughts on hot-button topics.
And, shocker, it's just as woke as the rest of AI.
Conservative journalist Elijah Schaffer asked Snapchat's My AI some questions and here are the results.
First, here's how the woke Snapchat AI responds to questions of sexuality and gender:
Of course, there's the issue of race where even computers now think some forms of racism are okay and others aren't:
Then we have the matter of religion where we learn that even a computer system is too smart to get fatwa-ed:
It won't make jokes about "religious texts."
Except for the Bible. That's totally okay.
Then we get political:
Let's talk about something else. What's your favorite type of music?
And the worst part is, you can't delete the AI from popping up in Snapchat in your chats. You can't get rid of it.
If your kids have Snapchat, be warned. This is the sort of dishonest and harmful nonsense being pushed by its "friendly" AI.
