In a move that is neither shocking nor unexpected, Leftist media has begun throwing dirt at one of the women considered to be on Trump's shortlist to replace Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
The early assault on Amy Coney Barrett, which will no doubt scale to a full out onslaught should she be nominated, has begun with a few articles decrying Barrett as an extremist who hates women and probably wants you to die.
Behold, the journalistic integrity of The Washington Post. Democracy dies in darkness, folks!
In this totally objective piece of drivel, WaPo reports that Barrett has a record of evil, heinous things, like arguing for better due process in college sexual assault allegations and being a – whispers – Catholic.
Another brave and stunning WaPo reporter doubled down on this dark side of Barrett, pointing out that she thinks one's career should point to "building the Kingdom of God."
HORROR OF HORRORS! A CATHOLIC BELIEVES CATHOLIC THINGS AND LIVES ACCORDING TO A CATHOLIC WORLDVIEW??? What's next, folks?? Could Barrett start living out her faith to love justice, do mercy, and to walk humbly with God? Might she begin serving the poor, the orphan, the widow, and the foreigner? Might she begin loving her neighbor??? Oh, the nightmare!!
Another Leftist activist pointed to Barrett's Catholic "extremist lifestyle," which consists of practicing her religion, a committed marriage, being a mom to seven children, a career of hard work, and serving her nation as a federal judge.
What. An. Extremist. We should lock this woman up for being a committed working mother of seven (two of whom are -gasp!- adopted). She should be imprisoned for dedicating her life to serving her country. She should be sent to the gulags for daring to believe in a power higher than government!
This tack isn't new, of course. Let's not forget that Democrats raised concerns of Barrett's "dogma" when she was confirmed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Take note, everyone. This is just the beginning. If you thought the Kavanaugh confirmation process was appalling, just wait. Should Amy Coney Barrett be nominated, you'll be force-fed 24/7 wall-to-wall coverage of how evil this God-fearing mother, wife, and judge is. Get ready.
