At this time, numerous emergency and hazardous materials crews are on the scene in Zaleski, Ohio, following a massive and dangerous chemical leak at the Austin Powder explosives manufacturing plant. The leak involves highly dangerous and toxic nitric acid as 5,000 gallons [could potentially leak from the storage tank] prompting officials to issue mandatory evacuations as the The entire town of Zaleski, Ohio was evacuated. The Federal Aviation Administration has also established a 30-mile no-fly zone around the site, extending up to 23,000 feet in altitude. The Red Cross has set up emergency shelters, and authorities are urging the public to avoid the area.

FYI, this is Zaleski, Ohio, which is in the middle of nowhere 90 minutes south of Columbus.

The leak was discovered this morning around 8:30, the chemical is extremely dangerous to inhale, which is why they're seeing these evacuations.

Hopefully they can stop the leak sooner rather than later.
