Someone please tell Kamala Harris that I don't want the federal government thinking about me and my family when they wake up in the morning

This super creepy post from Kamala illustrates a fundamental difference in the way people view the role of government.

There are people — whom Kamala was obviously targeting with this tweet — who would see her words as comforting. Ahh. Nice government mommy. Take care of me mommy. Feed me, clothe me, make sure I'm comfy. Snuggle me. Because that's your job. You're the mom. I'll let you know if I need something mommy.

Then there are sane people like me who know that the last thing the federal government should be doing is waking up to thoughts of me and my family in their power-hungry heads. Stay out of my life government. I can take care of myself. You are not God. You are not my mother. You do not GIVE me any rights. You are there to protect the basic rights given to me by GOD. It is not your job to take care of me. It is not your job to make sure I'm comfy. It is your job to stay out my life as much as you possibly can. That is what the founders intended.

Dear federal government: Please stop obsessing over me and my family. You deranged, bloated monster.

Thank you.
