South Carolina Joins List Of Sane States Banning Men From Women's Sports

State governments continue to prove that the Founding Fathers got more than a few things right.

As half the country continues to go crazy and insist that men can be women, conservative states continue to stand against this insanity and pass laws protecting women from the predations of men.

The latest example comes from the great state of South Carolina ,where Governor Henry McMaster has signed into a law preventing men who think they're women from competing in sports against women.

South Carolina's governor has quietly signed into law a bill that would ban transgender students from playing girls' or women's sports in public schools and colleges as the state joins about a dozen others that have passed similar laws in the past two years.

The bill was one of 43 acts Gov. Henry McMaster signed into law Monday with no fanfare or ceremony. McMaster did not post to social media like he did for signing bills granting additional leave for new parents or allowing early voting.

No fanfare, no big show.

Just a common sense, everyday person's bill that prevents men from playing girls' sports in high school and college.

McMaster's response to a question about the bill absolutely triggered NPR and the national media.

But just before the state Senate passed the proposal earlier this month, McMaster said "I think the girls ought to play girls and the boys ought to play boys. That's the way we've always done it."

When asked if he meant biological boys, the governor responded "are there any other kind?"

Boys are boys and girls are girls.

NPR would have you believe this isn't common sense, but rather bigoted transphobia.

Opponents of the bill said it is a cruel idea, singling out students who are not elite athletes but are just looking for a way to be a regular student, hanging out with friends and learning life lessons through competition.

Umm, I don't think that a guy acting like a girl is just trying to be a regular student. I doubt he's identifying as a she just to be "one of the girls."

Men and women are different (sorry, someone had to say it).

And there aren't "biological" boys and girls. There are just boys and girls.

It's good to see a governor with a backbone stand up to protect those girls.
