Men: What are we good for? We're good for building buildings. That's the truth.
And we're good for making quesadillas when it's our turn to cook dinner. Nice crispy tortilla. Melty cheese.
Hmm, what else? Oh yes, we're good at protecting and defending the weaker and more vulnerable among us. Like, say, these four bosses at the South Carolina Supreme Court:
South Carolina's all-male Supreme Court upholds 6-week abortion ban
Just months after the exit of its sole female justice, the South Carolina Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld restrictions that would ban most abortions after around six weeks of pregnancy.
The 4-1 decision means the state's abortion ban, which Republican Gov. Henry McMaster signed into law in May, can go into effect.
"All-male." They say it like it's a bad thing! I'm over here like:
Look, these guys just did exactly what every man should be expected to do: Confronted with the possibility that a vulnerable child would be harmed (and/or a vulnerable woman would be exploited and abused), they said, "Um, no, we're not going to let that happen."
They voted with their hearts. They voted with their minds. They voted like men.
Every man reading NBC's ridiculous headline and seeing the term "all-male" emblazoned up there like a bronze elegy, you know we're all thinking the same thing:
Keep up the good work, men!
