Well, it looks like we have another contender for the Republican side of the aisle.

In what everyone assumes will be a two-man race between former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, South Carolina's Republican senator Tim Scott hints that he's about to throw his hat in the ring as well.

Tim Scott joins former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in challenging Trump for the 2024 nomination.

Unlike Haley, however, Scott isn't strongly playing the victim card or the "Democrats are the real" sexists or racists card either. He's instead focusing on American exceptionalism in his announcement.

Unfortunately for Scott, it's 2023 and I don't know if Scott has what it takes to lead a new generation of conservatives through the Marxist hellscape that controls everything.
