Squad Member Cori Bush Defends Her Private Security WHILE CALLING TO DEFUND THE POLICE Because She Has "Too Much Work To Do"
· Aug 5, 2021 · NottheBee.com

You know Cori Bush is new to Democratic politics by the way she constantly says the quiet part out loud.

In this clip, Bush rants about how she NEEDS private security in the same breath as her demanding that we DEFUND THE POLICE and replace them with social workers.

Wait wait wait.

Did she seriously, with a straight face, say what I think she said?

Let me listen to it again.

Oh. Yeah. It gets worse each time.

"I'm going to make sure I have security... I have too much work to do. There are too many people that need help right now for me to allow that. If I end up spending $200,000, if I spend 10 more dollars on it, you know what, I get to be here to do the work. So suck it up! And defunding the police has to happen and put that money into social safety nets."

Honestly, I don't know which is more grating to hear, the clear and present narcissism or the blatant hypocrisy.

Her entire point is that she NEEDS private security because HER life is SO important. She has SOOOOO much work to do for the people. Her life must be protected, no matter the cost.

And what's the nature of this work? Why is her life so worthy of protection?

Well, obviously, she needs to fight to DEFUND the police! You know, the public security for all her constituents who can't afford $200,000 for their own private security.

Honestly, does she not hear the words that are coming out of her mouth? Does she not realize how ridiculous she sounds?

Police for me, but not for thee.

My life is so important, I must have security at all times. I am so much better than the average person.

If it wasn't so infuriating you could laugh at this balloonhead.
