In addition to being gung-ho about abortion, California allows kids to get breast removal, puberty blockers (chemical castration pills), and other cross-sex hormone shots.
And while trans activists like to deny that the castration of boys happens, let's not forget that from 2015-2023, TLC had a hugely popular show about Jazz Jennings, a boy who had his manhood cut off before age 18 and replaced with a gaping wound made from colon tissue.
But declawing cats?
A STEP TOO FAR.
Assembly Bill 867 was authored by Assemblymember Alex Lee (D-Milpitas) and is co-sponsored by Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco). The bill would only allow declawing if a veterinarian deems it medically necessary.
'Cat declawing is a cruel and barbaric surgical procedure that causes lifelong disfigurement and pain,' said Lee. 'This is a common sense bill reinforcing that cat declawing goes against ethical treatment standards for animals.'
