It's hard to put a number on this level of failure, but if pressed I'd try to peg the exact figure as, oh, somewhere around 600,000:
That's not an exaggeration. And it's worth pointing out that, while LoTT's massive increase in followers has indeed come over the course of just a few weeks, it's really only been the last 10 days that it's taken off at a stratospheric rate. Consider LoTT's followers on Twitter on Apr. 19, the day Taylor Lorenz's hit piece came out:
Now, a mere 10 days later, she's at just under 1.2 million, essentially a massive doubling of her already-enormous follower account in less than two weeks.
Let's hear it for Libs of TikTok for all her hard work and Taylor Lorenz for letting the world know about it!
