Teacher asks class who they admire. Student says Trump, gets kicked out of class chat. Mom records teacher and nails him!

Wow.

It looks like Brendan Stanton, a middle school teacher in Tacoma, WA, has a serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

After asking his 6th grade students in his daily online class chat to name someone they admire and why, he went into full shutdown mode — literally — when one of his students said he most admires Donald J. Trump.

I admire Donald J. Trump because he is making America great again. And because he is the best president the United States of America could ever, ever have. And he built the wall so terrorists couldn't come into in the U. S. Trump is the best person in the world. And that's why I had admire him.

Upon getting that reply, Stanton kicked the student out of the chat room, deleted the chat, and went on an extended rant about how inappropriate the answer was.

"The example that was shared in the chat, which I went ahead and erased for us, was not appropriate right? Especially as that individual has created so much division and hatred between people and specifically spoken hatred to many different individuals, ok? … Again, that individual has spoken hate to many individuals and I don't think is an appropriate example for a role model that we should be admiring."

Nope. Not right. Not ok.

Mom, Elsy Kusander, was listening (good for you, Mom!), and started recording the class.

Nailed ya, sucka!

Later in the day, Kusander called the teacher for an explanation of his behavior. Stanton tried to cover his tracks by suggesting he had nothing but respect for her 10 yr old son and his position, and that he was only trying to keep the class on topic.

"My perspective has nothing to do with Donald Trump himself, right? I try to keep politics out of the classroom. … I do try to keep politics out of the classroom… because students have different opinions, right?

You may pause to here to barf. Go ahead, we'll wait.

But Kusander wouldn't let him off the hook, explaining she had videoed his comments and had him dead to rights.

"I do apologize if my words were not perfect at the time. If I used… if I said that Trump was ‘hateful and divisive,' that may have been what I used at the time, but my purpose was in bringing us back [to topic]."

You mean back to the topic of bashing our president and brainwashing our kids? That topic, right?

"How can a teacher be teaching to his students horrible things about the president of the country without facts?" bemoaned Ms. Kusander.

Because he has a terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, RIGHT?!

This. THIS is your tax dollars in action.

Hats off to this eavesdropping mama!
