Tennessee man posts a video to social media asking the ATF if what he had in his van was legal. It wasn’t.

Levi Flatt posted the following video message on Facebook.

"Hey ATF, let me know if this legal. Uh, a pound of Tannerite, a pipe bomb, and a wine bottle full of diesel."

The ATF got the message, and they asked for a warrant to search his property for a bomb.

But before the warrant came through, special agents witnessed Flatt load up his van and head for the Putnam County Fair, presumably to blow some stuff up.

Luckily for all those happy fair attendees, Flatt decided he needed more pyrotechnics.

He stopped at Walmart and bought a propane tank. The agents presumed the bomb was in his van, so they initiated a traffic stop with local law enforcement.

As Flatt was being detained, he told the officers the bomb was in a blue cooler in the van.

The bomb squad was called in, and this is what they found:

"three pipe bombs, two Molotov cocktails, a handgun with a tampered serial number, approximately 160 rounds of ammunition, a flak jacket, and a shield."

I assume that's in addition to the propane tank, but what's missing from this list is that one pound of tannerite.

Maybe it was in the pipe bombs? I mean 1 lb of tannerite came make a pretty decent boom, but the propane tank seems like the bigger threat here.

See the difference:

Praise the Lord, none of it made it to the fairgrounds.

After his arrest, the ATF finally got their warrant to search Flatt's property. Who knows what else they'll find there?

I'll bet it's flammable though.
