The Biden administration is using minor paperwork typos to shut down a huge number of gun stores across the country

The Biden administration appears to have rather cleverly figured out a workaround to its insatiable desire to take away American gun rights: By shutting down the places where Americans buy guns.

Lee Williams, an independent investigative reporter specializing in covering firearms, revealed that ATF once revoked the licenses of federal firearms licensees (FFLs) at a rate of about 40 each year. "But, in the 11 months since Joe Biden declared war on ‘rogue gun dealers,' the ATF has revoked 273 FFLs — an increase of more than 500%," Williams reported. "However, rather than targeting the true rogues, Biden's ATF is revoking FFLs for the most minor of paperwork errors, which were never a concern for the ATF until Biden weaponized the agency."

That's due to the Biden administration's "zero tolerance" inspection policy. That means inspectors are revoking federal firearms licenses for even minor clerical errors that previously would warrant a warning letter.

The Biden administration when a firearm dealer puts a semicolon where there should be a period:

The reported intransigence on display is breathtaking:

Key to the massive increase in revocations is Biden's zero-tolerance for willful violations policy, which Clark said relies upon a new definition of willful. If a dealer makes a simple mistake, they can now lose their license, because the new definition of willful states that the dealer knew the law, but willfully chose to violate it anyway – regardless of whether it was an oversight, an error by an employee or a simple paperwork mistake. "They have twisted negligence into willful," Clark said. "These are not uncommon errors that we're seeing. Things happen."

One thing is clear: Until this gets resolved (remember to vote in November), you might wanna high-tail it over to your local dealer and see what he's selling before he gets shut down.
