How many people do you think can honestly say, "Just a few months ago I was a high-ranking federal nuclear employee and now I'm being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation because I stole a bunch of women's clothes?"
Well, at least one guy in the United States can:
The Houston Police Department passed its investigation into the former Biden official accused of stealing luggage from airports on to the FBI after new charges were raised by a Tanzanian fashion designer in the city.
You can only imagine how done with this case the Houston PD was. Picture them handing the keys to the feds like:
Sam Brinton, formerly a nuclear waste expert with the Department of Energy, was implicated in another after Asya Khamsin saw pictures of them wearing what appeared to be her unique clothes she lost in a bag that went missing at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in 2018. He also appeared to have stolen and worn her jewelry that was in the bag.
Here's that story:
Sam Brinton is already under arrest and faces 5 year in prison for charges of stealing other suitcases at different airports.
More from Red State:
[Khamsin] then received a phone call regarding the complaint in late January from the FBI field office in Minneapolis, according to Khamsin's husband.
"Houston police, I guess, they [sent] the case to the FBI in Minnesota," Khamsin's husband told Fox News Digital. "He called to say, ‘I'm [with] the FBI, I'm working on this case.' Then my wife gave him the information and we didn't hear anything. We don't know whether the case is on. We don't know whether the case is cold."
Well, this is the woke FBI that exists to run cover for Dems.
But you never know!
