The Democrats harnessed their inner Scrooge last night in an effort to melt Donald Trump with their minds. It didn't work, but it did make for great TV.

Next up was the true test of the Democrats' ability to remain completely lifeless as a child cancer survivor became an honorable member of the U.S. Secret Service.
Every politician has moments where they honor notable people. You can call it a publicity stunt - most of the time, it probably is.
But because every politician does stuff like this, every politician knows that you can't be a grumpy grump during those moments. It's a bad look.
But the Dems were so committed to their belief that the American people would side with them against Orange Hitler that they refused to celebrate a kid who beat cancer.
Talk about an ad for the Republicans!
Finally, I have to thank Rep. Al Green (D-TX) for causing a ruckus and getting himself booted by the U.S. House sergeant at arms.
