Earlier today, Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) had a publicity stunt where he tried to interrupt a presser by the secretary of Homeland Security and was removed from the room by Secret Service agents.
After the incident, Sec. Kristi Noem was nice enough to have a private chat with him for 15 minutes.
Padilla could have easily scheduled a meeting, but instead, he went into the presser like he was the chick from Apple's 1984 ad.

Getting detained was the purpose and the point.
Because Trump isn't an actual dictator, they have to keep the theater going.
And man oh man are the theater kids busy this afternoon!
(Why does Chuck always slip words like "manhandling" into his rhetoric?)
Dude's practically out here quoting Star Wars! 😂

The Democrats main allies, the dying corporate news, were running some of the usual headlines to spin this story into a "Trump is Hitler" thought piece.
"Everything is fascism!"
The good news? Unlike just one year ago, a majority of left-wing outlets didn't post sensational headlines.
Look at this. It's a miracle. The vibe shift is real.
You can find left-wing bias in these stories, but they're surprisingly open about the fact that Padilla interrupted the press conference and they don't try to spin the headline (like Politico) to make it seem like a freedom fighter was tackled by stormtroopers.
Translation: The Democrats are now so lame and their stunts so pathetic that not even the Los Angeles Times will use said stunts to run hit pieces.
If you would have told me the Dems would be so uncool and so incompetent 5 years ago, I would have thought you were crazy!
