"The Biden Administration is the most corrupt and evil regime to ever run this country": Matt Walsh goes nuclear on Biden DOJ after pro-life activists found guilty
· Jan 31, 2024 · NottheBee.com

Depressingly predictable news out of Tennessee this week:

Nearly three years after a group of anti-abortion protesters from across the country blocked the entrance to a Mt. Juliet reproductive health clinic, six of the defendants have been convicted of federal felonies that could translate to years of prison time.

The defendants were convicted under the federal FACE Act, which forbids blocking entrances to abortion clinics. (Because abortion is, you know, a "civil right" or whatever.)

The defendants in the case are looking at up to a decade in prison, as well as tens of thousands of dollars in fines. And Matt Walsh, you will not be surprised to know, has some thoughts.

Walsh was responding to Assistant U.S. Attorney Amanda Klopf's argument against the peaceful protest in which Klopf claimed that "something is not peaceful if laws are broken."

Note that the protesters didn't harm anybody or do anything other than just stand in the clinic. But under the U.S. government's view, this protest couldn't possibly count as "peaceful."

This is incredible. The US attorney prosecuting the pro life activists who were just convicted and face 11 years in prison for peacefully protesting outside of a clinic actually argued in court that there is no such thing as a non-violent crime. Meanwhile the Biden Administration is currently in the process of releasing hundreds of criminals from prison on the basis that their crimes were non-violent. They are making legal arguments totally arbitrarily depending on the politics of the situation. Full on Soviet style corruption and persecution.

Verdict:

But Walsh wasn't done:

He's not wrong.
