Donald Trump was acquitted over the weekend in his impeachment trial.

And like responsible adults dedicated to unity and healing, the Left has decided to let the whole thing go.

Instead, mainstream media and Leftist public figures called for near violence against Republican senators and their families while saying they are responsible for "the violence to come."

Here were two examples from media and politics:

A bunch of Hollywood celebs also melted down, shrieking into the skies in an attempt to invoke the heathen gods to end us all.

First up was the expected tweet from Alyssa Milano:

Then we have producer Ron W̶e̶i̶n̶e̶r̶ Reiner of "A Few Good Men," "The Princess Bride," and "When Harry Met Sally." Apparently never having read a history book, he called the acquittal "the worst violation of the Constitution" ever:

Actor John Cusack wants half of America that support their senators to know that they're fascists:

While Adam Goldberg just wants you to know you're a straight-up traitor.

Actor and comedian Michael Rapaport used the more endearing term, "worthless worms." Funny guy!!

Fellow comedian Jim Gaffigan went on to remind us of how comedy is pretty much dead now:

West Wing actor Bradley Whitford claimed Trump tried to overthrow the election and kill cops. I'm sure Twitter will fact-check that disinformation soon!
