WE DO NOT DESERVE DOGS.

A woman named Kelly got angry with the family dog, Henry, when he kept breaking into their nursery where their sick baby was sleeping.

Henry seemed to be pretty concerned about the little one.

Kelly then realized the baby wasn't breathing in her sleep. Henry's constant rousing and attempts to communicate with Kelly might have been the only thing that kept the baby alive.

The parents immediately rushed their little girl to the Connecticut Children's Hospital.

Kelly says both their baby and Henry are doing fine.

Thanks for all the well wishes, everyone. The baby is doing much better today and we are home with Henry, who bravely held the fort all night even though he is scared of the dark.
