The guy was a celebrity billionaire who spent more than three decades as a cultural icon before he ever ran for president. He was so popular that he was cutting Pizza Hut commercials about his divorce back in 1995:

Yet millions of people believe that guy - probably the most recognized living person on the planet right now - was actually a secret Klu Klux Klan member and plans to overthrow democracy.
