Mark Cuban And The NBA Are In A Full On Slap Fight. Cuban Suspended Playing The National Anthem At Mav's Games But The NBA Is Like "Not So Fast, Buddy!"
· Feb 11, 2021 · NottheBee.com

Tuesday night, Dallas Maverick's owner and left-wing Donald Trump, Mark Cuban, confirmed that his organization would no longer play the National Anthem before their games.

That news went big in the sports world, but it was only Wednesday afternoon before the NBA released a statement that effectively read, "Uhhh, no."

Here's the full statement, it won't take long to read.

"All teams will play the National Anthem in keeping with longstanding league policy."

It doesn't get much clearer than that.

However, Cuban, being the firebrand that he is, had his own catty statement ready to fire back at the NBA.

Here Cuban shows his true colors, he shows why he has stopped playing the National Anthem. He is suspending the playing of the national anthem because of "those who feel the anthem does not represent them." He also says we need to "listen to those who feel differently" about the anthem, and "only then can we move... this country forward and find what unites us."

Translation: the woke crowd who believe the United States is a racist country don't like it when we play the National Anthem. And we must always please the woke mob.

It's hilarious that Cuban wants to try to find something that "unites us" because, until Colin Kaepernick's protests one of the few things that united us was the National Anthem. Before the wokies took over, we could all agree that it was important to find unity in a shared national story and national symbols, like participating in singing the National Anthem.

It will be interesting to see if the NBA puts any teeth into enforcing their "longstanding policy."
