The NYT did a hit piece on Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and claimed he wouldn't respond to requests ... Dave has ALL the receipts

They say when you come at the king, you best not miss.

But this fragile, woke, feminist New York Times reporter missed big time when she published a hit piece on Barstool Sports' Dave Portnoy for his questionable past.

The story reads a lot like a gossip column.

And, to be sure, Dave Portnoy is a somewhat sleazy guy with low morals. He's definitely a proud philanderer and gambler as well.

However, somehow, some way, the supposed "journalists" at The New York Times proved themselves to be even slimier than Portnoy.

The story, by Emily Steel, claims that Barstool "did not respond" to repeated messages asking Portnoy to answer questions.

But in reality, the reporter behind this story was in touch with Portnoy for months, and Portnoy offered to sit down for an interview on multiple occasions.

They wouldn't agree to his offer. Then they published the hit piece.

But Dave has the receipts:

This woman is a Pulitzer Prize-winning "investigative journalist" with the nation's largest newspaper.

She, for months, put off meeting with the subject of her piece and then published it as if he had been avoiding her.

Sure, Dave had terms she wouldn't find acceptable, but if you read the messages, Dave had to reach out to HER first. She may have sent him emails, but in these messages, it's clear she was uncooperative and avoided talking with the subject of her piece.

She's supposed to be the best of the best. Dave Portnoy is a morally questionable dude. You could have recorded an interview and it wouldn't undermine that conclusion at all.

Instead, she wrote a piece that's meant to stir up hatred for Barstool.

Many others are pointing out that Dave Portnoy is a successful businessman and helped thousands of people survive during the pandemic. I guess that's why the NYT hates him.

Meanwhile, they promote crypto thief-schemer Sam Bankman-Fried because he agrees wholeheartedly with their politics.

This is exactly the problem.

As much as I dislike Portnoy, the media is much, much worse.

This is just the latest example that makes it clear that the fake news media is the enemy of the people.
