During last week's Supreme Court hearing on the Biden vaccine mandate, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor caught a lot of flack for spewing all sorts of misinformation about Covid-19, especially when it comes to kids and the pandemic.
Of course, the left is not going to let a little thing like reality get in the way of a perfectly good fear-mongering narrative.
The View's Sunny Hostin went on TV Monday in order to "reframe" Sotomayor's statement so that her untruths become the most important truths in regards to Covid.

Sotomayor may have just spewed unbelievably outrageous fake news, but if you live in a world dominated by Covid fear you are willing to believe the lies if it validates your feelings.
What Hostin says here is truly astonishing, even for The View.
Well, first I want to just reframe this a little bit about Justice Sotomayor.
Pause there, just so you know, when a liberal says "reframe" what they really mean is "lie."
Carry on.
Because, um, while, you know, she may not be accurate for current hospitalizations in children, she is correct that we have more children in the hospital now more than ever before. And it certainly reflects the current cases with children.
Right now we have 82,843 children sick with Covid. More than 1,000 children have died from the virus. In addition, about 7.8 million children have caught Covid since the pandemic started. Those are just the numbers.
So, while fewer than 83,000 kids have been hospitalized with the virus, we have kids sick with Covid more than we ever had before.
And so, that's a real thing and those are real numbers.
Just a reminder, Sotomayor said that there are CURRENTLY 100,000 children in SERIOUS CONDITION with Covid.
The real number of kids in the hospital with Covid is around 3,000.
Only 97% off.
THAT'S A HUGE DIFFERENCE!
And, let's be reminded of what the Left's biggest Covid hero, Anthony Fauci, said about these numbers:
Many of these kids in the hospital are there for reasons OTHER THAN Covid, but the hospitals are testing them for Covid and finding out they have it.
If they weren't tested, we wouldn't know they even had it.
ALSO, Sunny proclaims that nearly 1,000 kids have died from Covid.
But guess what, that's not true either.
1,000 kids may have died WITH Covid, but we have no clue how many have actually died FROM the disease.
So, no, Sunny, the number of kids with Covid is nowhere close to what you or Sotomayor are trying to push.
But, again, the facts don't matter.
Sunny says "those are real numbers" and she's right. Those are real numbers. But they don't represent the fantasy world she's living in.
Sunny is so committed to the virus being the worst thing ever, she's even willing to go after the CDC when they stop engaging in her preferred level of fear-mongering.
Sunny Hostin, who, one again, is a host on The View, doesn't believe the CDC because she knows better than them. Because she has a feeling that what they're saying is wrong.
So long to all of the "Trust the Science" and "CDC recommends" people.
They can't let go of the fear that has become their religious devotion. It's all they have left!
