These pediatricians somehow, and I dunno how, thought this condescendingly screwy vax promo would make us trust experts again

Do you wonder why it is that the field of medicine was often so wrong for so long (four humors, leeches, using unwashed tools for surgery) before it slowly began to adopt better practices through the ages?

Wonder no more!

Hey, if people want to post weird videos on Twitter, well... that's the internet for you.

But to post something as condescending as this?

"Oh my gosh, Todd, what are we gonna do? People just don't believe us [doctors] anymore.

"I know, I know, Nicole. You know what? These people would rather listen to some random person or somebody on social media. I bet they couldn't even pass Mr. Jenkin's 9th-grade science class."

"I totally know what you're saying Todd, and... but what are we going to do??"

"I don't know... WAIT! What if we created–" [both together] "–THE PERFECT CHEER??"

Congrats, you two. You convinced nobody of your position and in fact alienated a few thousand more.

These "social media" people who "couldn't even pass Mr. Jenkin's 9th-grade science class" include some of the most preeminent medical minds on the planet – individuals who have been repeatedly censored for going against the Narrative™.

And months after crushing government and academic censorship has assured us that those undesired scientists were 100% wrong, stuff like this keeps popping up:

So I'm glad that you two are (supposedly?) educated doctors, but for you to cast everyone who disagrees with your enlightened selves as backwards rubes is... well, let's just say there are not-so-nice terms for that kind of narcissism. Hopefully it was meant tongue-in-cheek.

Anyway, glad to know that you would have been two of the majority of doctors that laughed at and censored Hungarian Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis in 1850 when he suggested that hand washing would save lives!
