7-year-old Jaslyn Adams was shot and killed in a McDonald's drive-thru in Chicago over the weekend. Does she get a protest or a national conversation?

Another weekend in epidemic-level-violent-crime-ridden Chicago saw beautiful 7-year-old Jaslyn Adams shot to death, and her father seriously injured, as the car they were both in was riddled with bullets at a McDonald's drive-thru.

A Chicago Police officer rushed her there about two miles away, where she was found in a bullet-ridden car – sitting in a McDonald's drive-thru in the 3200 block of West Roosevelt Road, at Kedzie Avenue.

At least 30 shell casings surrounded the vehicle after the shooting at 4:18 p.m. The tinted windows on side were shot out.

Bullet holes were left in the frame and back window as well.

Investigators said Jaslyn was hit multiple times around her body. Family said her father, Jontae Adams, 29, was also hit.

Chicago Police said the 29-year-old was shot in the upper body. He was also taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County, where he was reported in serious condition, and he was expected to survive.

Jaslyn's grandmother told CBS 2 that Jontae Adams called her as soon as the shooting happened, saying, "They shot my baby!"

Authorities believe the attack was gang-related. The shooters, of course, were not caught; they hardly ever are in Chiraq.

24 people were shot this weekend in Chicago. 3 of them, including Jaslyn, were killed. And that's a relatively mild weekend for the Windy City.

Not including this past weekend, 864 people have been shot so far this year in Chicago, and 163 killed.

864 shot and 163 killed so far this year! Just in Chicago, and just through April 15!

And yeah I'll say it: Almost every single victim of this out-of-control violence has been black.

Don't their lives matter?

Why don't they get protests and riots and national conversations and weeping politicians?

Why won't America's woke, race-obsessed talking heads say anything about 7-year-old Jaslyn Adams?

Because they're selfish, narrative-obsessed grifters, that's why. And the blood flowing through Chicago streets does not further their cause.

R.I.P. Little Jaslyn.
