This Alberta man came across a bull moose during his evening walk and was forced to climb a tree to avoid being trampled

Imagine this: You're out on your evening walk — nice little neighborhood, just after sundown, cute little path along the creek. All of the sudden in the distance you spot something strange moving along the water's edge.

And it's a bull moose!

Man, I'd freak!

But not this guy:

Yup, David Meredith of Red Deer, Alberta was merely curious at the creature, and he hid behind a tree to get a sneak peek into the life of an Alberta moose.

But it didn't go without notice from the bull.

Curious, he hid behind a tree and watched, but not for long.

"He ended up doing a bluff charge," Meredith recounted during an interview with CTV News. "So I took that opportunity to scream like a little girl and run up that tree."

He added: "I really didn't have anywhere to go."

Once he was off the ground and safer in the branches of the tree, Meredith pulled out his phone and started recording.

I love how he just comes out and admits he screamed like a girl.

🤣🤣🤣

Here's that video for ya (scream not included):

Seriously, so cool.

He assumed the animal would move along, but instead it started charging back and forth and using its antlers to rustle tree branches…

Meredith estimated he stayed in the tree for 10 to 15 minutes before the moose finally ran away.

What a night!

Probably the most memorable walk our guy David will ever take in his life.

Here's Dave on the news:

By the way, the city has no intention of tracking down the moose or anything like that, as this is simply just a normal day in Canada.
