I love this so much: The love, the emotion -- even the caption is perfect.

Who am I kidding? We're all crying!

I can't imagine how hard it would be if my family was 10,000 miles away! Especially considering it was this kid's 19th birthday on Wednesday (video shot on Tuesday).

Archie Wilson joined Nebraska's squad over the summer after being recruited on FaceTime and it sounds like he could take over punting duties this year (though they do have another spectacular leg on the roster).

Here's Archie:

Archie is a former Australian Rules football player for Haileybury College where he was a defender. This means when he lets that thing go from the backfield he could easily be the guy to make the tackle. It also means he can kick with both feet, which is a plus in today's new rugby-style punting game.

Archie's family says they'll be visiting for the first few games this year, so hopefully that will cure his broken heart, if only temporarily.

I guess now I'll be randomly rooting for Nebraska this year, at least when they punt the ball.

Here's that full press conference if you want to learn more about Archie:
