Lochel's Bakery, a small business right outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, conducts an unofficial "cookie poll" each election. This year, they're selling "Trump 2024" and "Harris 2024" sugar cookies and keeping a tally of sales numbers.
Forget Nate Silver. Forget Rasmussen. Forget tea leaves. This is the kind of polling we want to see.
According to a local news segment, the tally isn't looking good for Kamala:
That's right: At time of broadcast, the score is Trump in the lead with 4,228 cookies sold, versus Kamala with 369 cookies sold.
