Did I even need to tell you that this guy got fired?
Cuz he got fired.
That's John Szczecina, who works—well, used to work—at the Shell station in Rancho Cordova, California. Dude accidentally misplaced the decimal on the price of premium gas, so instead of running a whopping $6.99 per gallon, it only cost the hundreds of customers who stopped in "over several hours" just 69 cents per gallon to fill up.
The pricing error reportedly cost the gas station $16,000

Oh man, I honestly feel so bad for John here. And he's just taking it like a man.
"I put all three prices on there, except the diesel. The last one kind of didn't go. So, I just took responsibility for it and said yeah, it's my fault," Szczecina said, ABC News Fresno station KFSN reported…
Szczecina said he's worried the station owners will sue him for lost revenue, revealing that his family created a GoFundMe to help repay them, KFSN reported.
Wow. Dude created a GoFundMe to make up the difference.
I mean, any good boss knows that these kind of mistakes come right out of the paycheck. Fair's fair.
Seriously though, I wish John Szczecina the best in this one.
It was an honest mistake.
By the way, lets hear it for all those peeps who were able to capitalize on this mistake.
Hey, gas ain't cheap!
