This cat escaped her cage and led Boston Airport staff on a three-week chase

Meet Rowdy. Apparently named for her love of mischief.

Three weeks ago, she escaped her cage while the airport crews were unloading cargo at Logan International Airport, and she's led airport staff on a game of cat-and-mouse since then.

The airport staff set up safe-release traps where she had been spotted, the cat's favorite toys, and her favorite foods, but Rowdy was never fooled, evading every endeavor to capture her.

I'm not sure why they didn't just use a box. You'd think an airport would be full of them.

Eventually, in true cat form, Rowdy got tired of the game, walked up to a staff member, and gave him the eyes.

Rowdy's family the Sahlis, was moving back to the U.S. from Germany, where they had lived for 15 years.

Lufthansa has offered to fly Patty Sahli from Florida, that mythical land of freedom where the family moved, to Boston to collect the family cat.

Sahli was excited to get their family pet back, and Rowdy is plotting her next grand adventure: Evading the staff in a Florida airport.
