Bro, it's not just the City of Chicago that's a Democratic dump; it looks like it's happening in the suburbs too.
Dolton Mayor and Thornton Township Supervisor Tiffany Heynard spent $85,769 on a community event called the "Taste of Thornton" last month.
The event featured singers Keke Wyatt and J Holiday, who were paid a combined $50,000 for their half-hour performances. The township also paid comedians, and set up some $6,600 in bouncy houses for the event.
And yes, this is the same lady who is under investigation for misusing taxpayer funds.
Lightfoot's investigation into the town's financial situation revealed in a preliminary report that Dolton's general fund balance was $5.61 million in 2022, but by May 2024 the balance had dropped to a deficit of $3.65 million.
