When it rains it pours.
(Sometimes both literally and figuratively at the same time.)
Cailyn McRossie-Martinez and Brandon Martinez chose a beautiful, natural setting for their recent nuptials, but they got a little more nature than they bargained for.
First, during the ceremony, they experienced a torrential downpour, where they, along with all their guests got drenched during the exchanging of the vows.
Despite the inclement weather, they got married and the pictures still turned out beautifully:
But to follow this display of nature, they went into their reception to find that an uninvited guest had taken up residence, probably trying to avoid the monsoon outside, and helped himself to their dessert bar.
The venue staff was quickly able to shoo the bear, but not before he had put a significant dent in the menu.
The bride, Caitlyn, told KUSA-TV that their very unusual wedding day was a good lesson in marriage, saying,
Life doesn't always go to plan, but it's how you get through it together.
So in the end, despite the hiccups along the way, the couple was able to laugh about everything that didn't go to plan and still had a beautiful, memorable wedding day.
