You really can't make it up, folks.
Lucas Kunce (pictured below) is in a Senate race against Republican Josh Hawley and this man should never be allowed to handle a gun ever again.
Lucas often touts his experience as a "Marine Corps Veteran." He doesn't tell you that he was just a JAG lawyer and never once carried a rifle in combat.
Here he is posing with an AR-15 and offering to give a political opponent a "gun safety course."
This has not aged well, and you'll find out why in a minute:
This week, Kunce did a gun-range photo op with his pal Adam Kinzinger and a bunch of union members that ended with a local reporter being shot.
Kunce shared just a few photos, and based on these photos alone, it's a wonder someone wasn't killed.
The safety violations in these photos are mind-blowing.
Here we have Adam Kinzinger shooting at STEEL TARGETS from about 5 yards away with a rifle. This is just inviting disaster and injury from ricochets.
Here's another high-powered, bolt-action rifle, presumably being used on steel targets from 5 yards away. Incredibly stupid.
Hey Adam Kinzinger, why are you wearing your eye protection on the top of your head and not over your eyes???
And look at this massive scope - for a target 5 yards away ๐
At one point, someone goes downrange and takes a picture while 6-8 weapons are pointed at his crotch:
Oh no ... is that what I think it is??????
Yeah, two canisters of explosive Tannerite on the table as these goofballs shoot high-powered rifles from 5 yards away at steel targets. If a ricochet hits these, they explode.
Thankfully, the inevitable bullet fragment ricochet didn't hit the explosives. Instead, it hit the arm of a nearby journalist:
Kunce's opponent Josh Hawley was quick to roast him over the incident:
We couldn't agree more. It's time for common-sense gun control for liberals.
If you saw any safety violations we missed, be sure to let us know in the comments.
