Meet (desperate) bachelorette Lisa Catalano. KRON reports this lady is so ready to get married and have kids that she took out six - SIX! - digital billboards to find a man.
I get it.
Finding a spouse is tough these days.
But let's take a look at her website and see if we can figure out what might have driven poor Lisa here to such desperation.
We'll start with her "about" page:
Here are some red flags already:
Democrat, Liberal
Non-practicing Catholic, not religious
Loves cats!
Wants marriage and kids within the next 2-3 years with the right man!
Lisa is 41-years old.
A 41-year-old liberal agnostic cat lady.
So, what's kept her from finding that special someone so far?
Well, here are her list of non-negotiable demands for a potential husband:
Must be on board with a monogamous relationship, and dating with the intent for marriage. Must be alright with a timeframe of marriage and starting a family within the next 2-3 years.
College educated. Bachelor's degree at a minimum.
Generally healthy lifestyle is a must. No marijuana, tobacco, psychedelics, or recreational drug use. Good hygiene.
No criminal record, non-violent personality.
No or minimal tattoos/piercings
Those are all fine and great choices for any woman ... as long as she's looking for a good conservative Christian man!
And that's where things get sticky:
Must be Democratic or liberal or left leaning politically.
Looking for someone who is not particularly religious. Okay with spiritual or non-religious or along those lines.
Imagine trying to find a Democrat, non-religious man who is okay getting married and having kids right away, doesn't use drugs, has a non-violent personality, and isn't tattooed/pierced into oblivion.
And keep in mind we're talking about San Francisco here.
It looks to me like poor Lisa is suffering from the common delusion that masculine, upstanding liberal men exist anymore.
The left-right dividing line moved to the left of the normal guys that Lisa is looking for years ago.
