This dude paddled down the Missouri River for 38 miles inside a hollowed-out pumpkin, crushing the world record cuz more than one person has actually done this

Okay, first of all, I simply cannot believe there's a Guinness World Record for longest journey in a pumpkin boat.

Second of all, this dude is an absolute legend:

Look at that pumpkin!

The SS Berta is what Nebraska man Duane Hansen named his vessel, and after launching her into the Missouri River at Bellevue, NE, he traveled for eleven hours โ€” a full 38 miles โ€” before exiting the water at Nebraska City.

Thats, like, extremely impressive.

Hansen's journey aimed to break the Guinness World Record for longest journey by pumpkin boat, which was set at 25.5 miles by North Dakota man Rick Swenson in 2016.

And guess what, he did all of this on his 60th birthday!

What a great day for Duane!

Legendary!
