Firefighter Bret Langston of Austell, Georgia was having a normal day of work when his daughter, Hannah, went into labor and had to make an emergency pit stop at his workplace.
Hannah's mom, April Langston, was driving her daughter and soon-to-be-born granddaughter to the birthing center when about halfway there they realized they were not going to make it in time.
So instead, they pulled into the fire station where Bret was on shift, and about 10 minutes later, Hannah gave birth to her daughter, Adalynn.
Bret Langston, himself a father of six, said he's had to assist with several emergency deliveries in his work as a firefighter, but this emergency delivery will definitely be one he'll never forget.
Mom Hannah told 11 Alive,
It was unexpected, unusual, but it was a blessing and I wouldn't change it. Everything went well. I joke with people, she was a surprise baby, she had a surprise birth, everything about her is just, surprise.
