Who doesn't love a good story about a very good boy?
That stud pictured above is Jacquo, a Belgian Malinois born in France, who is now retiring after 7 years of loyal service in the Marietta, Georgia Police Department.
This studly little unit was trained and certified in narcotics detection, article search, tracking, obedience, and criminal apprehension, and executed his duties for the better part of a decade as a "reliable, focused, tenacious partner always ready to help," according to his human police friends.
According to the Marietta PD:
In the seven years Jacquo worked for our community he was deployed more than (530) times, leading to over (181) arrests specifically related to his work. He was also called to assist numerous times with neighboring law enforcement agencies, and federal partners including the DEA, HSI, and HIDTA. He was also active in the public, performing countless school demonstrations.
WHAT A GOOD BOY!!
They added:
On behalf of the entire Marietta Police Department, we thank Jacquo for his service and wish him plenty of rest, steak dinners, and belly rubs in his retirement.
