This guy is suspected of murder and the police pretty much just let him jog out of the police station with no resistance whatsoever

Police in New York City are really earning their salaries these days:

An attempted-murder suspect leisurely jogged through a Bronx NYPD station house Monday during his caught-on-video escape, according to cops and police sources.

The 23-year-old suspect โ€“ identified by police sources as Edurado Lacen โ€“ pushed a detective who had been processing him at the 40th Precinct station house on Alexander Avenue near East 138th Street in Mott Haven around 1:30 p.m., then fled, authorities said.

Footage obtained by The Post shows him trotting out of the precinct uncuffed, with a detective at the same sauntering pace trailing behind him.

That is really not at all an exaggeration:

Just look at that cop run after his murder suspect! Such dedication.

I hope they find him and also that the one cop starts hitting the treadmill a few days a week!
