Police in New York City are really earning their salaries these days:
An attempted-murder suspect leisurely jogged through a Bronx NYPD station house Monday during his caught-on-video escape, according to cops and police sources.
The 23-year-old suspect โ identified by police sources as Edurado Lacen โ pushed a detective who had been processing him at the 40th Precinct station house on Alexander Avenue near East 138th Street in Mott Haven around 1:30 p.m., then fled, authorities said.
Footage obtained by The Post shows him trotting out of the precinct uncuffed, with a detective at the same sauntering pace trailing behind him.
That is really not at all an exaggeration:
Just look at that cop run after his murder suspect! Such dedication.
I hope they find him and also that the one cop starts hitting the treadmill a few days a week!
