This house in Tennessee has hundreds of Amazon boxes sitting in the front yard and neighbors are beginning to worry...

Okay, this is just bizarre.

Imagine if this were your neighborhood. You'd have a full storyline going with your family. Maybe the neighbor's a mob boss. She might be one of those influencer people you can find online. The possibilities are endless.

But after a while (this has been going on for months), you'd start to get irritated. You'd probably hit up the city and have them deal with it.

Several neighbors have talked with the police, the City of Chattanooga, and have even written to the home owners, but nothing has been done.

The home on Chestnut Wood Lane falls out of city limits and is part of the county, according to the City of Chattanooga.

A spokesperson for the City says that while this clearly looks like a codes violation, the county does not have a codes department.

So, for some reason the county can't really do anything. Even though there are hundreds of boxes just sitting outside this home.

And get this: one of the neighbor's Amazon packages keep getting dropped off in this giant pile by accident. So this lady has to send her husband over there to fish through the piles for it.

Just the thought of that makes me quiver. I just imagine this guy fishing through the pile, finding what he came for, taking a quick peek at the window and noticing some weird pale child standing there staring at him.

So weird.

The neighbors of the box house are planning on selling their house now.

Good luck with that. First sight of those boxes and I'm not even meeting the realtor for the showing. I'm just turning around and going back to my tiny apartment.

Here's the explanation from the boxed-in homeowners:

We spoke to the homeowners, who wish to stay anonymous. They tell us they have a friend who has a contract with an Amazon warehouse in China.

They tell us whenever the friend's contract expires, she will send the packages to their house for the family to sort and then send back to Amazon for the company to sell.

Now that makes me even more suspicious!
